Michael Iles, Jr.

Funeral services for Michael "Moggie" Iles, Jr. of Longbridge will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 beginning at 1pm at the Christian Family Worship Center in Mansura with Rev. Vernon Simon officiating. Visitation will be held at the Christian Family Worship Center in Mansura on Saturday, November 19, 2016 beginning at 10am until 1pm. Burial will commence in the Little Zion Baptist Cemetery in Longbridge. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Michael Iles, Jr., age 26, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 in Cottonport. Michael gave his life to Christ at an early age and continued his fellowship of serving the Lord. He was a 2009 graduate of Avoyelles High School in Moreauville where he was a friend to all. Michael was the most polite, vibrant, happy, and respectable young man known to all. His hobbies were music and cars, until his daughter Mariah was born. She became his world along with his fiancé, Javacis Smith.

Those left to cherish her memories, are his parents, Michael Iles, Sr. & Louella Williams; daughter, Mariah Iles; son, Patrick "Trey" Williams; fiancé, Javacis Smith; sister/cousin, Shanna (Fredrick) Wilson; goddaughter, Jakyria Taylor; aunts, Janie (Clifton) Gibson, Deborah Taylor, Rosemary Coleman, Gloria Peacock, Nina Iles, Dina Iles; uncles, Terry (Sarah) Lavalais, Thomas Ray (Debra) Iles; godparents, Martha Johnson & Mac Johnson.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Fredrick Wilson, Montreal Augustine, Von Adams, Kevin Williams, Geoffrey Lee, Arthur Jackson, Jr., Maurice Augustine, Dion Dobbins, Reginald Iles, Jr., Craig Smith, Larry Jackson, Jr. & John Johnson.
