Funeral services Michelle Bass of Simmesport will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2014 beginning at 3pm at the Escud Funeral Home in Simmesport. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2014 beginning at 11am until 3pm and will resume after the funeral service until close at 10pm at the Escud Funeral Home in Simmesport. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Michelle Bass, age 40, passed away in Marksville on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Michelle enjoyed fishing and camping and was also a fan of NASCAR LSU football. Michelle owned her own business doing glass etching and loved to create as an artist. She loved being with her family and friends, and she will be missed dearly.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Travis Anthony Ryan of Florida, Shannon Curtis Ryan of Simmesport, Anthony Brian Harris, Jr. of Marksville, and Brett Allen Harris of Marksville her fianc, Anthony Brian Harris, Sr. of Marksville sister, Roxana Durrett Richard of Simmesport brother, David Houston Bass II Jennifer Mayeux of Simmesport her parents, David Houston Bass I and Mary Redmond Bass. She is also survived by five nephews and three nieces.
