Milburn Barrere

Funeral services for Milburn James Barrere of Hamburg will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville beginning at 2:00pm with Father Marc Noel officiating. Visitation will also be held that day from 9:00am to 2:00pm at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville. A private burial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Barrere had 25 years of service in the National Guard and is a Vietnam War Veteran. He retired from the military and later served 4 years on the board of Avoyelles Waterworks: District 1.
Milburn Barrere, age 72, passed away at his home in Hamburg on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. He was preceded in death by his son, Chad Barrere parents, Lester Eunice Walker Barrere sister, Lydia Bacon and father and motherinlaw, Phil Doris Wilkes. He is survived by his wife, Glinda Barrere of Hamburg daughter, Jamie Burnaman Jerry of Alexandria daughterinlaw, Tina Desselle of Belledeau three granddaughters, Morgan Barrere, Jaden Burnaman, Carly Barrere niece nephew, Angela Miller Eddie Bacon brotherinlaws, Gerard Wilkes Donna Vincent Wilkes Becky.
Service and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
