Funeral services for Mildred Lois Sheppard of Marksville will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 beginning at 10:00am. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. and reopen Wednesday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Mary #2 Catholic Mausoleum.
Mildred Sheppard, age 77, passed away at Valley View Nursing Center in Marksville on Sunday, April 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband; Lawrence A. Sheppard, Sr.; her parents; Son, Michael Strommen, Grandson, Jason Paul Gaspard; brother, Marvin and a sister, Marion
She is survived by her daughters; Maureen Gaspard of Marksville, Mary Scallan of Livonia; Sons, Scott Sheppard of Marksville, Matt Strommen of Union, MS and Mark Strommen of Arizona; sister Arletta Paige of Missouri. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
