Funeral services for Minnie Joffrion Delaney of Moreauville will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 beginning at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Marc Noel officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 beginning at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Escud Funeral Home in Moreauville and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00 am until time of service. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum immediately following the funeral service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville.
Minnie Joffrion Delaney, age 84, passed away at Valley View Nursing Home on Monday, December 22, 2014 in Mansura.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmore and Lena Couvillion Dufour Sisters, Pearl Juneau, Ann Bordelon, Lena Morrell, and Sybil Dufour brothers, Joseph Dufour, Kirby Dufour, Willie Dufour, and John Dufour.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children: son, Michael Joffrion of Mansura daughter, Deena Griffin of West Palm Beach, Fl. and grandson, Jason Joffrion of Jacksonville, Fl.
Pallbearers will be Joe Bordelon, Lonnie Dufour, Karen Dufour, Freddie Dufour, Monroe B. Farbre, Jr., and Monroe Hebert Jr.
