Morel Henderson

Funeral services for Morel J. Henderson of Cottonport will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 beginning at 11am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lakeland with Fr. Todd Lloyd. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 beginning at 9am until 11am. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Morel Joseph Henderson, age 79, passed away at the Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge on Friday, February 27, 2015. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Robert; and his parents, H.N. & Reca Henderson. Morel was a carpenter by trade for many years, some of his work included building homes for the Diocese of Alexandria.
Those to cherish his memory are his daughter, Deirdre (Ken) Vosburg of Jarreau; grandchild, Leah Robert; great-grandchildren, Donnie Torres, Brooklynn Robert, & Hunter Falcon; sisters, Jeanette (Gerard) Deville & Martha (James) Travasos; brothers, Terry Henderson, Brent Henderson, & Mike Henderson.
