Ms. Cleothile Dewailly

Funeral services for Cleothile Ms. Tean Dewailly of Bordelonville will take place at the St. Peters Catholic Church of Bordelonville on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, beginning at 2:00pm with Msgr. Steve Testa officiating. Visitations will be held at the St. Peters Catholic Church Hall, prior to the funeral service, beginning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Peter Mausoleum.
Cleothile Dewailly, age 92, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Monday, May 16, 2011. She taught Home Economics at Bordelonville High School for 33 years in her education career. She was a resident of the Bayou Chateau Nursing Home for 3 years. Mrs. Dewailly touched the hearts of many during her life and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmanuel Ida Bordelon brothers, B.J. Bordelon, M.A. Bordelon, P.W. Bordelon sister, Blanche Laborde brotherinlaw, Albert Dewailly sisterinlaw, Verbena Dewailly. She is survived by her husband, Voorhies V.P. Dewailly, Jr. of Bordelonville Voorhies Buster Dewailly wife Donna of Baton Rouge daughters, Gretchen Krueger husband Jerry of Stafford, TX, Paula Bergeron husband Terry of Goudeau brotherinlaw, Edmund Dewailly wife Adeline of Baton Rouge grandchildren, Annette Droddy husband Jason of Baton Rouge, David Bergeron of Goudeau greatgrandchildren, Ryan Droddy of Baton Rouge, Jacob Droddy of Baton Rouge also a host of nieces, nephews, extended family.
