Services for Murdis Marie Dufour Guilbeau, age 91, of Plaucheville, will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Plaucheville, officiating clergy Father Charles Morgan. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, Plaucheville, under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport. Murdis Marie Dufour Guilbeau, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at the Avoyelles Hospital. She is survived by two sons, Richard and wife Romaine Guilbeau, of Folsom; and Gerald and wife Marie Guilbeau, of Bunkie, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren , one great-great- grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Byron Paul Guilbeau, father, Adeo Dufour, mother, Marie Mayeux Dufour, five sisters, Sadie Spardley, Mary Lemoine, Mable English, Beatrice Dufour, Anne Rabalais; four brothers, Hilton Dufour, Byron Dufour, Elliot Dufour and Burton Dufour. Visitation Escude Funeral Home, of Cottonport, on November 29, 2008 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Rosary at 7 p.m., Re-open the following day 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
