Funeral services for Myrtle Mae Armand will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at St. Marys Assumption Catholic church with Father Blake Deshautel officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Assumption Mausoleum under the direction of Escude Funeral Home, Cottonport.
Myrtle Mae Armand, age 93, of Cottonport passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Avoyelles Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Armand father, Everette Walls mother, Azema Duplechin two brothers, Byron Walls and James Walls four sisters, Bonnie Rabalais, Ordean Couvillion, Lorona Huffman, and Elaine Guillot and grandson, Kevin Juneau.
Survivors include her son, Percy Joe Armand of Mansura three daughters, Marveline Juneau of Cottonport, Rose Bertus of Spring, Texas, and Carolyn Gauthier of Baton Rouge 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home, Cottonport on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 8 a.m. until service time.
