Funeral services for Narcille Louise Ducote of Cottonport will take place on Friday, June 4, 2010 at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Thursday, June 4, 2010, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, and will resume Friday morning at 8:30am. Burial services will commence at the St. Marys Mausoleum 2.
Narcille Ducote, age 88, passed away at the Rio Sol Nursing Home on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lorena Lemoine Lacour grandson, Cain Patrick Ducote. She is survived by her daughters, Bernice Dufour of Moreauville, Kathleen Singleton of Baton Rouge sons, James Ducote of Cottonport, Tony Ducote of Baton Rouge, Neil Ducote of Mansura brother, Garner Lacour of Tioga sisters, Vivian Rabalais of Plaucheville, Shirley Ducote of Cottonport, Jane Desselle of Bordelonville, Launa Lacour of Moreauville, Katie Desselle of Bordelonville. She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren fourteen greatgrandchildren.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
