Neil Bordelon, Sr.

Funeral services for Neil James Bordelon, Sr. of Bordelonville will take place at the St. Peter Catholic Church of Bordelonville on Thursday, February 7, 2013, beginning at 11:00am with Msgr. Steve Testa officiating. Visitation will be held at the St. Peter Church Hall on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, from 2:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Thursday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.
Neil Bordelon, Sr. served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 3 years and in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He also lived in Marrero for 40 years where he worked for the Sheriff Department, and in 2010 in moved back home to Bordelonville. He is preceded in death by his son, Neil Bordelon, Jr. mother, Margaret Bordelon fatherinlaw, Cleophas LaBorde. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Bettie Bordelon of Bordelonville grandchildren, Neil Bordelon, III Blase Bordelon brother, Jerry Baudin of Baton Rouge sisters, Peggy Barrare Judy LaBorde, both of Baton Rouge motherinlaw, Sybil Charrier.
