Neilson Armand

Funeral services for Neilson J. Armand, of Cottonport, will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Church of the Little Flower Catholic Church of Evergreen beginning at 11am. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport beginning at 5pm until 10pm and will resume Friday morning at 8:00am. Burial will be held at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Mr. Neilson J. Armand, age 83, passed away at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Mr. Armand was a Veteran of the Army who served in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome Angelle Armand and brothers, J.C. Armand, Mason Armand, and Abbey Armand.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Tessie Armand of Cottonport his sons, Neil Armand of Cottonport and Kerry Armand of Cottonport his daughter Lisa Gintz of Plaucheville and his stepsons, Michael Matthews, of Tickfaw, LA and Chris Matthews of Houston, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
