Nelda Simon

Funeral mass for Nelda "Blue" Simon of Moreauville will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 beginning at 11am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville with Fr. Jose Pallipurath officiating. Visitation will be held that morning from 9am until the time of service at Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville. Burial will commence in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Nelda "Blue" Simon, age 73, of Moreauville passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Bayou Chateau Nursing Center in Simmesport. Nelda was a member of the Silver Lining Company where she always met and exceeded the goals and objectives of her job. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney & Lola Marie Armand Simon, Sr.; brothers, Barney Simon, Jr., Gerard Simon; sisters, Beverly Lemoine and Margaret Mary Rogers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Myra Gremillion of Plaucheville; brother, Clarence Simon of Eunice and numerous nieces and nephews.
