Nell Dubroc

Funeral services for Nell Francois Dubroc of Bunkie will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 beginning at 11am at Church of the Little Flower Catholic Church in Evergreen with Fr. Bartholemew Ibe officiating. Visiation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 beginning at 5pm until 10pm with Rosary wake service at 7:45pm at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning at 8am. Burial will be at Church of the Little Flower Cemetery in Evergreen. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Nell Dubroc, age 75, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Bunkie General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Dubroc; parents, Cleonard & Ivy Juneau Francois; brother, Louis Carol "Chocko" Francois; grandson, Patrick Scott Laborde; and granddaughter, Brooke Courtney Laborde.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Brenda Laborde (Mark) of Marksville, Lisa Dubroc of Bunkie, and Michelle Firmin (Henry "Bubba") of Big Bend; her sister, Cynthia Francois Poret of Hessmer. She also leaves five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
