Nellie Moreau

Services for Mrs. Nellie J. Moreau of Cottonport will be at 1 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cottonport with Father Rahj officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery 2 in Cottonport under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport. Mrs. Nellie J. Moreau, age 90, died September 11, 2009 at Bayou Vista Nursing Home in Bunkie. Survivors include two daughters Donna Francois of Cottonport and Janet Fruge of Baton Rouge; son, Warren P. Moreau of Baton Rouge; sister, Lela Mae Laborde of Metairie; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband, Wilmer Moreau, father, William Juneau and mother, Lillie Janet. Visitation will be at Escude Funeral home of Cottonport Sunday, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and resume at 8 am on Monday. A Wake service will be Sunday at 6 p.m. Pallbearers will be Kevin Fruge', Todd Fruge', Trent Fruge', Lee Moreau, Joel Rabalais and Brad Taylor. Crossbearer will be Hunter Fruge'.
