Nolan Scallan

Funeral services for Nolan Scallan of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery on Monday, February 14, 2011, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral home of Mansura on Sunday, February 13, 2011, from 3:00pm to 10:00pm, and will resume Monday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
Nolan Scallan, age 74, passed away at the Rapides Regional Medical Center on Saturday, February 12, 2011. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Scallan Mizell daughterinlaw, Diana Lee Scallan parents, Sims J. Sara Laborde Scallan sisters, Betty Lachney, Zenella Lachney brothers, Milburn Scallan, Stanley Scallan. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Bowers Scallan sons, James Scallan and wife Elaine, Adam Scallan and wife Sandy, Van Brun and wife Tammy, Sid Brun daughter, Rose Roy and husband Ronald, Donna Farbes and husband Don sisters, Martha Morisako, Bernice Lachney. He is also survived by his twentyone grandchildren ten greatgrandchildren.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
