Services for Nora Thompson of Dupont, will be at 10 a.m.on March 1, 2010 at Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport with Rev. Charles Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Dupont under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport.
Nora Thompson, 96, passed away at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home February 26, 2010.
Survivors include sisterinlaw Betty McDonald of Plaucheville grandson, Robert Bobby Desselle, Jr. of Alexandria, grandchild, Clare Missy Boswell of Maryland four great grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Boswell, Leslie Ann Boswell, Brittany Rae Deeds and Ashleigh Brooke Picotte.
She is preceded in death by 3rd husband, Sam Thompson, 2nd husband, Leary Leomoine, 1st husband, Griffin Desselle father Elphige Jeansonne of Dupont mother Ester Caracatzanie five brothers, George Jeansonne, Walsey Jeansonne, Peter Jeansonne, Phillip Jeansonne and Delonace Jeansonne two sisters, Lonnie Lopas and Hilda Armond one son, Robert Desselle, Sr.
Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. February 28, 2010 and reopen the following day at 9 a.m. until time of service. A Wake Service will be at 6 p.m. February 28, 2010.
