Funeral Mass for Norma Jean Manuel of Hessmer will take place at the Christian Family Worship Center on Saturday, December 28, 2024, beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Mark Crawford officiating. Burial will take place at the Lamartiniere Cemetery.

Norma Jean Manuel, 76 years old, passed away at Hessmer Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cary Manuel and Leah Mayeux (Jonathan); her granddaughters, Brittany Blalock (Justin), Courtney Manuel, and Lillian Mayeux; grandson, Jordan Mayeux; great-granddaughter, Adalee Blalock; sister, Lucille Guillory; and her dog, Bailey Jean Manuel-Mayeux.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Raina Manuel Pitmon; husband, Carl Manuel; her parents, Denver, Sr. and Rita Houston Jeansonne; sister, Lucy Bonnette; and her brothers, Martin Jeansonne and Denver Jeansonne, Jr.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Christian Family Worship Center.
