Norman Jeansonne

Funeral services for Norman Joseph Jeansonne, Jr. of Mansura will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Friday, March 13, 2015 beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Edwin Hernandez-Rodriguez officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Friday morning at 8:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.
Norman Jeansonne, Jr., age 90, passed away at the OakMont Estates of Mansura on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Lacour Jeansonne; parents, Norma, Sr. & Lena Jeansonne; brother, Floyd Jeansonne. He is survived by his children, Faye McChesney (James) of Moreauville, Glenn Jeansonne (Susan) of Hessmer, Michele Mayeux (Horton), & Andre Jeansonne of Austin, TX; sister, Vera Mae Bordelon; grandchildren, Beau, Tyler, Kane, & Luke Mayeux, Ashley Nelson, Dawn Gauthier, David & Ryan Jeansonne. He is also survived by his eleven great-grandchildren & one great-great-grandchild.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
