Odell Desselle, Sr.

Funeral services for Odell R. Desselle, Sr. of Mansura will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 beginning at 1pm at the St. Paul Catholic Church of Mansura. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 beginning at 8:30am until 1pm at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura. A rosary wake service will be held at 11:30am at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the St. Pauls Mausoleum in Mansura.
Odell R. Desselle, Sr., age 93, passed away at the Hessmer Nursing Home on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Mr. Desselle was preceded in death by his wife Annie J. Desselle parents Landry Sr. Annie Voinche Desselle his brother Harold Desselle and three sisters, Lilly Guillory, Elaine Guillot and Mae Ducote. Mr. Desselle is survived by his son Odell Pete Desselle, Jr. of Denham Springs, his daughter Thelma Guillot of Hessmer, and his brother Landry Desselle, Jr. of Marksville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen greatgrandchildren, and seven greatgreatgrandchildren.
