Odessa Lemoine

Funeral services for Odessa Marie Valois Lemoine of Marksville will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Moreauville on Monday, June 23, 2014 beginning at 11:00am with Msgr. John Timmerman officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Moreauville on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Monday morning at 8:00am. Burial will commence at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Odessa Lemoine, age 93, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital of Marksville on Friday, June 20, 2014. She enjoyed her days by quilting, sitting on her swing, cooking, telling stories of when she was a young girl. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerard Lydia Valois son, Preston Lemoine husband, Burnette Lemoine, Sr. She is survived by her children, Marguerite Lemoine, Jean Couvillion, Linda Couvillion, Ethel Gauthier, Bernard Lemoine, Robert Lemoine, Burnette Lemoine, Jr. sisters, Madeline Gauthier, Theresa Lemoine, Eva Mae Nives. She is also survived by her eighteen grandchildren, twentyeight greatgrandchildren, six greatgreatgrandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
