Funeral services for Mary Olla Lastrapes of Bunkie will take place at the New Light Church of God on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, beginning at 11:00am, with Brother Dale Fontenot officiating. Visitations will also be held at the church, prior to the funeral services, beginning at 9:00am. Burial services will commence at the New Light Church of God Cemetery.
Mary Olla Lastrapes, age 91, passed away at her home on Friday, December 17, 2010. She is preceded in death by her three husbands, Clebert Robicheaux, Jim Fontenot, Andrew Lastrapes daughters, Ola Mae Alpo, Earline Stewart parents, Pierre Adele Simien Rosignon. She is survived by her children, Theresa Chambers of Opelousas, Mary Ann Griggs of Houston, Lee Anna Bush of Lebeau, Lena Franklin of Bunkie, Lorane Fontenot of Lemoyen, J.C. Robicheaux of Livingston, TX, Leroy Robicheaux of Houston, Joseph Russell Robicheaux of Opelousas, Leo Robicheaux of Houston, Lee Allen Robicheaux of Houston, Calvin Robicheaux of Opelousas, Frank Fontenot of Lemoyen, Jesse Fontenot. She is also survived by her fiftyone grandchildren, one hundred and eight greatgrandchildren, twentyeight greatgreatgrandchildren.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
