Ophelia Normand

Funeral services for Ophelia Mae Normand of Simmesport will be held on Monday, December 07, 2009 at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport, beginning at 1:00pm. Visitations will also take place at the church prior to the funeral, beginning at 12:15 pm. Burial services will be held at the Palmetto Methodist Cemetery. Ophelia Mae Normand, age 74, passed away at Point Coupee General Hospital on Saturday, December 5, 2009. She is preceded in death her parents, Thomas Ganson Irene Kimble Ganson. She is survived by her; husband, Lawrence Normand of Simmesport; sons, Keith Normand of Gonzales, Thomas Normand of Walker, Bryan Normand of Panama City Beach; daughters, Patricia Rouse of Denham Springs, Lottie Mixon of Simmesport; brother, Lindon Ganson of Conroe, TX. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren 9 great-grandchildren. Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
