Funeral services for Orville Paul Rabalais of Cottonport will take place on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at St. Marys Catholic Church, beginning at 1:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport, on Saturday, December 26, 2009, beginning at 10:00am until time of the funeral. Orville Rabalais, age 95, passed away at the Lafayette General Hospital on Tuesday, December 22, 2009. He is preceded in death by his; wife, Anne McDonald Rabalais; parents, Leon Rabalais Caroline Swift Rabalais; brother William Rabalais. He is survived by his; daughter, Greta Rabalais Trotter of New Orleans; sister, Leona Rabalais Pollock of Kennet Square, PA; sister-in-law, Bernice Tootsie Riche; grandchildren, Beau Edmundson Trotter wife Jaime Lynn Britt, Jason Edmundson Trotter wife Lindsay Thomas, Logan Moore Trotter; great-grandchildren, Hannah Bailey Anne Trotter, Beau Edmundson Chigley Trotter, Hayes Thomas Trotter. Pallbearers will include; Beau Edmundson Trotter, Jason Edmundson Trotter, Logan Moore Trotter, William Edmundson Trotter II, William Edmundson Trotter III, Thomas Ernest Marcotte; cross bearers, Hannah Bailey Anne Trotter Beau Edmundson Chigley Trotter.
