Funeral services for Oscar Zerangue of Moreauville will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the St. Peters Catholic Church beginning at 10:30am. Visitations will be held at the St. Peter Church Hall on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 beginning at 4:00pm to 10:00pm, and will reopen on Wednesday. A rosary will be said Tuesday night at 6:00pm. Oscar Zerangue, age 71, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2009. He is preceded in death by his; son, Bryan K. Zerangue; parents, Abel Della Lanclos Zerangue. He is survived by; wife, Barbara Zerangue of Moreauville, sons, Oscar Joey Zerangue, Jr. of Laguna Park, TX., Bryan Zerangue of Bordelonville, Troy Ratcliff of Gibson; granddaughter, Sasha Lynn Zerangue; sisters, Nola Braud of Lafayette, Shirley Jeansonne of Lafayette, Earline Lanclos of Lafayette; a host of nephews, Robert Ronald Kidder amongst others; mother-in-law, Sybil Charrier. Pallbearers will include; Joey Zerangue, Bryan Zerangue, Alton Laborde, Troy Ratcliff, Robert Kidder, Ronald Kidder. Funeral arrangements and services are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home.
