Osma Coincon

Funeral services for Osma Coincon of Mansura will take place at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of Mansura on Thursday, May 12, 2011, beginning at 1:00pm, with Fr. Chad Partain officiating. Visitations will also be held at the church, prior to the funeral service, beginning at 12:00pm. Burial services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Osma Coincon, age 84, passed from this life on May 10, 2011 at his residence in Mansura. Osma was a Navy Veteran who serves in the Philippines in WWII. He worked many years in the insurance industry as a property and casualty agent at the Edgar Coco Insurance Agency in Marksville and most recently with Galland General Agency in Cottonport.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Martha T. Coincon, father Esnard Coincon, mother Ivy Bordelon Coincon, and sister Joyce McCall. Survivors include two sons, Chris Coincon and wife Alyce of Covington, and David Coincon and companion Bob Rivers of San Diego, brother Julius Coincon and wife Leila of Ilde Rae, France, grandchild, Sean Coincon and wife Sarah of Colorado Springs.
Osma was a long time resident of Mansura and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
