Funeral services for Oswald Joseph Alexis of Marksville will take place at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church of Erath, LA on Friday, June 8, 2012, beginning at 10:00am. Visitations will be held at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church Hall, prior to the funeral services, from 7:30am to 10:00am. Burial services will commence at the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
Oswald Alexis, age 66, passed away at the R. E. Barrow, Jr. Treatment Center on Thursday, May 31, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Williams Alexis of Raymore, MO children, Oswald Hogan of New Iberia, Catherine Miller of New Iberia, Jonathan Miller stepchildren, Jessica Williams Joseph Williams of Kansas City, MO brother, Cleveland Alexis sisters, Rosabella Gilbert, Hester Smith, Sarah Simon, Hazel Alexis, Mary Plowder, all of Abbeville, Velma Robertson of Jeanerette, Clara Alexis of Erath, Theresa Beniot of Lafayette grandchildren, Trevaun Miller, Traelyn Miller, Tajia Miller, Callie Miller, Danielle Bauer, Tyler Bauer, Alexis Williams, Isaiah Williams.
