Funeral services for Pannie Marie Whiddon will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Hessmer with Fr. Edwin RodriguezHernandez officiating. Burial will be held at St. Alphonsus Mausoleum, Hessmer. Arrangements are held under the direction of Escud Funeral Home of Mansura.
Pannie Marie Whiddon, age 80, of Walker, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at her residence.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Rozina Charrier Daigrepont two sisters, Agnes Gauthier and Eura Drummer and brother, Jesse Daigrepont.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Whiddon of Walker four daughters, Katherine Guillory Terry of Vidalia, Margaret Brignac of Baker, Bobbie Ann Sibley Rickey of Livingston and Angela Dolan of Walker nine grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Escud Funeral Home, Mansura Friday March 4 starting at 5 p.m. and continuing all night. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will reopen the following day at 8 a.m. until time of service.
