Paul Comeaux

Funeral services for Paul Dean Comeaux of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alponsus Catholic Church on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 beginning at 10:00am with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating the mass. Visitation will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Friday, July 20th, 2018 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm. Visitation will resume Saturday morning at 7:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Mausoleum. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Paul, age 80, passed away at the Valley View Nursing Home of Marksville on Thursday, July 19, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Comeaux; parents, Easton & Irene Comeaux. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Dawn Poret (Kim) & Mark Bordelon (Charlene) both of Mansura; brother, Roland Comeaux (Nellie) of Carencro; sister, Margaret Speidel (Tom) of Kissimmee, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Joshua Poret, Jonah Poret, & Brandi Chatelain; seven great-grandchildren; and two nieces and two nephews.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Joshua Poret, Jonah Poret, Vincent Chatelain, Charles Veillon, Rayford Constantine, and Michael Quebedeaux.
