Paul Courquet

Funeral Mass for Paul Courquet of Hessmer will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer. Burial will follow at the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. 

Mr. Paul Courquet, age 89, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, May Dell Vallot Courquet; daughters, Missie Kelone (Tony) and Evie Kelone (Brian), brother-in-law, Dale Lacombe; sisters, Mary Ann Henderson, Mary Alice Courquet, and Virginia Marie Bryan; grandchildren, Brandie, Paul, Katie, Mekel, Carli, Blake, Jared, Rachel, Shanna. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Lacombe; parents, Ulysse and Alice Thomasie Courquet; sisters, Evelyn Bourgeois and Mary Russell; brothers, George Courquet, Frank Courquet, and Charles Courquet; and a great grandchild, Lilah Lacombe.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 10:30am on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
