Funeral Mass for Paul Lester Fontenot of Mansura will be private for family only. Burial will take place at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Cemetery.

Paul Lester Fontenot, age 85, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital of Marksville on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jacqueline Fontenot of Mansura; children, Kim Fontenot Sampson of Mansura, Nevelle Fontenot of Mansura. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, five step grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton, Sr. and Corine Lavalais Fontenot; brothers, Clifton Fontenot, Jr. and Donald Fontenot; sisters, Mary Cecilia Moreau, Elizabeth Wright, Joanna McGee, and Shirley Ann Cadoree.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers; Michan Murray, Juan Murray, Juantravious Jones, Lawrence Davis, Frederick Barton, and Gregory Carmouche.
