Funeral services for Paul Daniel Haggard, Jr. of Simmesport will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 beginning at 11am at the Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport. Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 beginning at 5pm and will continue all night until the time of service Wednesday. Burial will be held at the Heart of Worship Cemetery in Lettsworth.
Paul Daniel Haggard, Jr., "Hagg" age 62, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at his home in Simmesport. Hagg was preceded in death by his father, Paul Daniel Haggard, Sr.; mother, Fannie Joann Hostetler; step-father, Lonnie Hostetler; and grandson, Gauge Bowman.
Those left to cherish his memory, age his wife of 43 years, Shirley Haggard of Simmesport; daughters, Paula Haggard (Martin Donaghey) of Bordelonville and Shelly Haggard of Hairford, MI; son, Paul Daniel Haggard, III (Cheryl Shirley) of Simmesport; brothers, Larry Haggard of Edwards, MS, Vernon Haggard of Summit, AK, Arden Haggard of Barrington, NH, and Daniel Haggard of Livingston, LA. Hagg is also survived by nine grandchildren.
