Pearl Ortego

Funeral services for Pearl Mary Ortego of Abbeville will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, beginning at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport the same day, from 12:00pm to 1:45pm. Burial services will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery.
Pearl Ortego, age 94, passed away at the Maison De Monde Nursing Home on Sunday, June 16, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hilton Joseph Ortego, Sr. children, Hilton Ortego, Jr. Carol Ortego parents, Oscar Dufour Etna Gremillion Ortego brothers, Hardy Dufour Morris Dufour sisters, Edith Lemoine Dolores Pike. She is survived by her children, Peggy Bordelon of Mandeville, Cheryl Gremillion of Marksville, Gerrilyn Gremillion of Abbeville brother, Elwood Dufour of River Ridge. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren eleven greatgrandchildren.
