Peter Martin

Funeral services for Mr. Peter Martin, Jr. will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011 in St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport with Father Blake Deshautel officiating. Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery in Cottonport. Arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport.
Mr. Martin, age 88, of Cottonport, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Grace Home Hospice.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Williams Martin father, Peter Martin, Sr. sister, Ezora Wells.
He is survived by wife, Clara Alexander Martin of Cottonport two daughters, Barabara Martin Payne Joseph of Port Arthur, Texas, and Kathleen Lavalais of Houston, Texas two sons, Arthur Ray Martin Tracey of Alexandria, and Randy Lavalais Kimberly of Houston, Texas and twelve grandchildren.
Visitation will be will be Saturday, May 7 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Escude Funeral home in Cottonport.
