Funeral services for Philip Diaville, Sr. of Plaucheville will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Sunday, February 2, 2014 beginning at 2:00pm with Fr. Keith Ishmael officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Sunday morning at 10:00am. Burial will commence at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
Philip Diaville, Sr., age 69, passed away at his home in Plaucheville on Thursday, January 30, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Roy Diaville parents, Newman Gerard Rita Gauthier Diaville sister, Nellie Saucier. He is survived by his children, Sharon Bordelon of Moreauville, Lisa Williber of Fifth Ward, Mistie Lancina of Leesville, Scott Diaville of Gold Dust, and Philip Peanut Diaville, Jr. of Moreauville brother, Gerard Diaville of Baker sisters, Peggy Riche of Baker, Faye Bordelon of Metairie, Shirley Dufour of Plaucheville, and Christine Bella of Moreauville. He is also survived his fourteen grandchildren three greatgrandchildren.
