Funeral services for Phillip Dupas, Sr. of Mansura will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 beginning at 11am at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 beginning at 8am until 11am at the Escud Funeral Home in Mansura. Burial will be held at St. Paul Cemetery in Mansura.
Phillip Dupas, Sr. was born on December 2, 1937 to the late Lones Leonie Sampson Dupas. He was called home on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria at the age of 76.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lones Leonie Sampson Dupas two sisters, Benita Prier Edna Morris three brothers, Newman Dupas, Eugene Dupas, Joseph Dupas.
Phillip Dupas, Sr. leaves to cherish her memories a wife, Carrie Dupas of Baton Rouge six sons, Phillip Dupas, Jr. of Baton Rouge, Christopher Dupas Johnnie Mae of Baton Rouge, LA, Randy Dupas of Los Angeles, CA, Mark Dupas of Baton Rouge, LA, Raymond Dupas of Houston, TX, and Jonathan Dupas Andrea of Baton Rouge, LA, four daughters, Suzanne Dupas of Baton Rouge, LA, Velda Dupas of Phoenix, AZ, Leona Matthews of Baton Rouge, La, and Leora Corney Melvin of Baton Rouge, LA fourteen grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren, two sisters Agnes Batiste of Marksville, LA and Josephine Jones of Dallas, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives friends.
