Services for Phyllis Bordelon Armand of Harahan will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2009 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Bordelonville. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Bordelonville under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura. Phyllis Bordelon Armand, 78, died at her residence on February 12, 2009. Survivors include son, Hewitt Armand of Metairie, brother Godfrey Bordelon of Bordelonville, brother Jude Bordelon of Bordelonville, brother Sterling Bordelon of Bordelonville and sister Roberta Norman of Bordelonville. She was preceded in death by son, Clayton Armand, brother, Willie 'Tibby' Armand, father, Edward Bordelon and mother Pliney Johnson Bordelon. Visitation will be at St. Peter's Church Hall, Bordelonville on Friday, February 13, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will re-open at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2009.
