Funeral services for Polly Tassin of Ball will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Monday, October 30th, 2017 beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home that morning beginning at 8:00am. Burial will take place at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Polly Tassin, age 86, passed away at the Lexington House of Alexandria on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Tassin, Sr.; parents, Thad & Francis Sorrell; brother & sisters, Virgil Sorrell, Genell Sorrell, & Roxie Hiek. She is survived by her children, Naomi Gates (Warren) of Pineville, Lisa Vincent (Marty) of Pineville, Suzanne Cheatham (Steve) of Ball, John P Tassin, Jr. of Ball, Joel Tassin (Darla) of Mansura, Mike Tassin (Debbie) of Pineville, Norman Tassin (Stacey) of Farmerville, LA; grandchildren, Guy, Jaime, Jake, Rachael, Brooke, Lane, Russell, Laurie, Danny, Josh, Seth, Caleb, & Luke; great-grandchildren, Leah, Reese, Chase, & Jayde; brother & sister, Tommy Sorrell & Lillian Penton.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
