Quincy Lemoine, Sr

Quincy Joseph Lemoine, Sr., 85, of Moreauville passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Center in Simmesport.
Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 5 pm until 9 pm with a Rosary at 6 pm. Visitation will reopen on Monday from 8 am until the time of service at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 17, 2011 at 10 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville with Fr. Marc Noel Officiating. Erin Paulk will serve as altar server, and the crossbearers will be Cade Paulk, and Gavin Bordelon. Entombment will follow services in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of Escude Funeral Home. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Joey Bordelon, Max Masters, Cliff Paulk, Brent Whiddon, Wayne Rabalais, and E.P. Rabalais.
Mr. Lemoine is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Vivian Juneau Lemoine of Moreauville. Sons Earl P. Lemoine and wife Kathi of Moreauville, Ralph lemoine and wife Cindy of Bunkie, and Quincy Lemoine, Jr., and wife Christine of Cottonport. Daughters Peggy Bordelon and husband Rickey of Longbridge, and Susan Caubarreaux and husband Andre of Cocoville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 16 greatgrandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonce and Lucy Lacour Lemoine, two brothers Earl and Roy Lemoine. One sister, Rose Rabalais all of Moreauville.
Mr. Lemoine was a former Post Master of Moreauville retiring after 33 years of service. He was an avid sports fan and supporter of Avoyelles High School Atheletics. Bill as he was known by many will be greatly missed by family and friends.
