Randall Firmin

Funeral services for Randall J. Firmin of Plaucheville will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont on Sunday, September 30, 2012, beginning at 11:00am with Fr. George Krosfield officiating. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Mausoleum in Dupont. Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport, from 4:00pm until 10:00pm on Saturday, September 29, 2012 and will resume Sunday morning at 8:00am.
Mr. Firmin, age 64, passed away in Plaucheville on Thursday, September 27, 2012. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, an avid hunter, and loved the outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents Levy Firmin, Sr. Edola Rabalais Firmin and one brother, Anthony Firmin. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirrell Firmin of Plaucheville daughters, Renee Firmin of Plaucheville and Alexis McNeal of Brouillette son, Blain Firmin of Cottonport brothers, Mark Firmin of Simmesport and Levy Firmin, Jr. of Lafayette sisters, Sherry Firmin of Plaucheville, and Alaina Morel of Alexandria. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
