Ray Dupont

Funeral services for Ray Joseph Dupont of Simmesport will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, beginning at 11:00am with Fr. Dwight de Jesus officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport on Monday, June 18, 2012, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Tuesday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the Christ the King Cemetery.
Ray Dupont, age 72, passed away at the Grace Home Hospice Center in Alexandria on Saturday, June 16, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Adolph Dupont, Sr. Marie Grimes Dupont sister, Virgie Dupont brothers, Adolph Dupont, Jr., Merlin Dupont, Richard Dupont, Sam Dupont. He is survived by his wife, Rita Lemoine Dupont of Simmesport children, Sam Dupont wife Mickey of Hamburg, Kelly Dupont wife Tiffany of Marksville, Janet Newsom husband Aristide of Simmesport, Paula Boudreaux husband Robbie of Simmesport brother, Numa Dupont of Littleton, CO. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers for the service will include: Shawn Newsom, Brandon Newsom, Aristide Newsom, Steven Dupont, Perry Dupont, and Kelly Dupont.
