Funeral services for Raymond Pootney Harris of Bordelonville will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009 at St. James Baptist Church in Moreauville beginning at 7:00pm. Visitation will take place at the church starting at 5:00pm until 10:00pm, and re-open Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 9:00am. The dismissal service will take Saturday at 11:00am at St. James Baptist Cemetery. Raymond Harris, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. He is preceded in death by his; father, John Harris; brother, Burton Harris. He is survived by his; mother, Francis Ford Harris of Bordelonville; companion, Lorraine Keller of Bordelonville; sons, Joseph Harris of Cottonport, Eddie Ray Harris of Atlanta, GA, Marvin Keller of Dallas, TX; daughters, Amelda Sue Harris of Atlanta, GA, Rebecca Harris of Cottonport, Amy Harris of Cottonport , Cody Reech of Glenmora, Renat Keller of Cottonport, Leslie Keller of Houston, TX, Tatianna Jones of Bordelonville; sisters, Jacqueline Kelly of Marksville, Kitty Wagner of Poland, Dollie Brown of Dallas, TX, Deola Harris of Bordelonville. He is also survived by thirty- four grandchildren. Funeral services and arrangements are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home.
