Rena Knoll

Funeral services for Rena Mary Knoll of Simmesport will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church on Saturday, July 17, 2010, beginning at 1:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport on Friday, July 16, 2010, from 10:00am to 10:00pm, and will resume at 8:00am Saturday morning. A rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7:00pm and burial services will commence at the Christ the King Cemetery.
Rena Knoll, age 79, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital of Marksville on Thursday, July 15, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Clementine Chenevert Knoll brothers, Richard Sam Knoll greatgrandchild, Gabe Dillon Villemarette. She is survived by her sons, David Desoto wife Melanie of Simmesport, Johnny Desoto wife Martha of Marksville daughters, Betty Hawkins of Bellingham, Wa., Sandra Duplessis husband Lester of Gonzales. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
