Reuben Chenevert

Funeral services for Reuben J. Chenevert of Cottonport will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 beginning at 11am at St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport beginning at 5pm until 10pm. Military honors and burial for Mr. Chenevert will take place at the St. Marys 2 Cemetery.
Reuben J. Chenevert, age 84, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on Monday, March 4, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Jewels Chenevert, his parents Edison Ina Chenevert, and his brother Raymond Chenevert. Mr. Chenevert is survived by two daughters Stephanie Landry of Cottonport, LA and Celeste Ross of Zavalla, TX, one son Thomas Chenevert of Baton Rouge, LA, two brothers Marvin Chenevert of Thousand Oaks, CA and Ed Chenevert of Mont Rose, CO and one sister Sylvia Chenevert of Baton Rouge, LA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Leah Kelone, Adam Landry, Sean Landry, Jana Ross and Bailey Ross.
