Funeral services for Rev. Willie Riley of Simmesport will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 beginning at 11am at the Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, August 22, 2015 beginning at 8am until 11 am. Burial will be held at True Vine Baptist Cemetery in Hamburg. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Rev. Willie Riley, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Grace Home of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew & Olicia Delafose Riley; sisters, Ruby Harris, Louisa Brooks; brother, Johnny Riley and grandchild, Jessica.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Vera Riley of Simmesport; daughters, Shelia Riley, Laura Stelly both of Simmesport, Tammy Riley-Tyler of VA; sons, Kevin & Shirley Turner of Alexandria, Walter & Pamela Riley, Ernest Riley all of VA; sisters, Isabell Riley, Melvina Green both of Simmesport, Juanita Winfrey, Olivia Brooks both of Baton Rouge; brothers, Peter Riley, and Louis Riley both of Simmesport. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
