Ricky Brown, Sr.

Funeral services for Ricky Lynn Brown, Sr. will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 beginning at 11am at Old Zion Baptist Church in Cottonport with Rev. Donald Tibbs officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the church beginning at 9am until time of service. Interment will be held at the Old Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Ricky Lynn Brown, Sr., age 57 of Cottonport, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2014 at 9:21pm at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Keith Williams and Gregory Daniels grandparents, Frank Carrie Williams and greatgrandparents, John Debora Mitchell.
He was a very hard worker as a farmer of 33 years. He loved cooking and most of all enjoyed joking with family and friends. He leaves precious memories behind with his four children: two daughters, Joanne Brown Tony and Chiquanda BrownWiley Hank, both of Cottonport two sons, Ricky Brown, Jr. April of Marksville and Brandon Brown Danette of Cottonport mother, Edna Love Thomas of Morgan City father, Andrew H. Brown of Los Angeles, California three sisters: Joycelyn F. Brown of Patterson, Regina M. Howard and Monique R. Powell Hollis both of Baton Rouge five brothers: Ronnie Brown Eileen of Carolton, Georgia, McCurly Brown of Traverse City, Michigan, Michael Brown and Pearlie Williams Shalonda both of Cottonport, and Tyrone Howard of Baton Rouge fifteen grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
