Funeral services for Rita Catherine Bordelon of Cottonport will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont on Friday, November 25, 2011, beginning at 1:00pm with Rev. George Krosfield officiating. Visitations will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall of Dupont, prior to the funeral service, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Burial services will commence at the St. Mary Catholic Mausoleum 2.
Rita Bordelon, age 90, passed away at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home of Dupont on Monday, November 21, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis Lenore Goudeau Marcotte sister, Gladys Andress. She is survived by her husband, Erna Antoine Bordelon of Plaucheville Michael James Bordelon Eva of Plaucheville grandchildren, Amanda Norred Randy of Plaucheville, Rushian Bordelon Amanda Lafleur of Carencro greatgrandchild, Anita Lee Norred of Plaucheville brother, Dr. Lacy Marcotte of Thibodaux sisters, Vera Wainwright Glenn of New Orleans, Illy Vigil Earl of Baton Rouge, Theresa Lemoine of Bunkie and also numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
