Funeral Mass for Robert James Guillot, native of Simmesport, will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Monday, June 17th, 2024 beginning at 10:30am.
Burial will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.
Robert James Guillot, age 47, passed away on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 in the comfort of his home in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. Robert was a family man at heart who loved good old-fashioned country activities such as hunting, fishing, barbecuing, and watching college football. He also enjoyed writing poetry and songs in his spare time, and often took his children on family outings together.
Those left to cherish his memory are his four children, Kathlyne Guillot, Robert Guillot, Jr., Daniel Guillot, and Catalina Guillot. He is also survived by his mother, Velma Guillot; sister, Rebecca Guillot; nephews, Nicholas Kulick and Ian Kulick; and maternal grandmother, Mamie Ard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Guillot; maternal grandfather, Foster LaCour; paternal grandfather, Pink Guillot; and paternal grandmother, Viola Guillot.
Visitation will begin at 8:00am to 10:15am on Monday, June 17th, 2024 at the Escudé Funeral Home of Simmesport.
