Robert Francis Juneau

Funeral services for Robert Juneau of Cottonport will take place at the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Anthony “Fr. Raj” Dharmaraj officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

 Robert Juneau, age 59, passed away at his home in Cottonport on Friday, July 19th, 2024. He was the fifth child and beloved son of Rodney L. “Bubba” & Rose Anne Lemoine Juneau, both of whom preceded him in death. 

Robert, a dedicated farmer, cherished his roots in Cottonport and was known for his love of woodworking, golf, and baseball—passions he shared with his grandfather and father, respectively. Above all, he treasured his daughter Olivia, following in his mother's footsteps in pouring his love into her. Throughout his life, Robert exhibited a selfless nature, exemplified by his unwavering dedication to his parents as their caretaker for nearly a decade before their passing. His love for his family extended to his granddaughter, Harper, whom he adored spending time with and doting on. Robert's true happiness radiated when he was in the kitchen preparing meals for his loved ones, or out hunting with Olivia and enjoying quality time together. His spirit lives on in the memories he created and the profound impact he had on those around him. Those left to cherish his memory are daughter, Olivia Riviere (Zane); granddaughter, Harper Riviere; sisters, Barbara Mixon (Mark), Lelia Davis (John), Patricia “Patty” Riche (Terry), and Margaret “Peggy” Juneau; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will begin at 9:30am on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 at the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport.
