Funeral services for Robert Joseph Normand of Lettsworth will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Monday, July 22, 2013, beginning at 2:00pm with Fr. Dwight de Jesus officiating. Visitation will take place that morning at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Burial services will commence at the Christ the King Mausoleum.
Robert Normand, age 79, passed away at his home in Lettsworth on Friday, July 19, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson Effie Mayeaux Normand sisters, Hazel Hinton Helen Kimble and brother, Morris Normand. He is survived by his wife, Betty Normand of Lettsworth children, Lynn Lartigue Perry of Lettsworth, Patricia Normand of Simmesport, Penney Voiselle Steven of Simmesport, Robin Normand of Lettsworth seven grandchildren ten greatgrandchildren and one sister, Mary Jane McFarland of Baton Rouge. Pallbearers include: Perry Lartigue, Scott Lartigue, Trent Lartigue, Steven Voiselle, Nicholas Voiselle, Chris Kimble, serving as cross bearer, Hunter Bowman.
Service and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
